98% of all the statistics used in the sigs on DA are inaccurate and complete bullcrap.
The D-type, heat resistant entry plug suit, after it was activated, filled with a gel membrane, protecting against the heat and excess radiation. The gel membrane, I believe, was like a thick liquid.
